As the KOSTAL Industrie Elektrik Company has developed and produced assemblies and complete units for the connection technology in the field of solar modules as well as for DC-supplied inverters since 1998 already, the KOSTAL Solar Electric GmbH Company was established under the KOSTAL Company at the end of 2006 to be the marketing company for DC-supplied inverters of the house brand "PIKO".

PIKO 4.2 is the smallest inverter of the PIKO family that we offer at the moment. Its two string inputs with one independent MPP tracker each allow for a high degree of flexibility regarding the use of solar modules as well as their alignment on top of the roof.
• It is finally possible to connect two different strings with different alignments each to the PIKO 4.2. Even this smallest member of the family provides a three-phase power port. Thus, it can do without sensitive components so that lifetime as well as quality could be improved considerably.
• The outstandingly well efficiency of the PIKO 4.2 amounting to 95.5 % also reflects this.
• A three-phase power supply is also very convenient for the power utilities as this prevents unbalanced loads in the power grid.

PIKO 5.5 (EU) is the middle family member of our PIKO series. Provided with three string inputs with independent MPP trackers each it allows for connection of up to three different strings with varying alignments on top of the roof.

Provided with two string inputs and independent MPP trackers each, the PIKO 8.3 perfectly suits a use in photovoltaic roof systems with varying alignments and different solar modules. The wide range of input voltage provides with this device again for getting the optimum output of the solar modules with almost every operating state of the PIKO to maximize this way the yield of the solar system.  [/li]

PIKO 10.1 is the largest member of the PIKO family. Like the PIKO 5.5, it is provided with three string inputs with independent MPP trackers each so as to allow for connection of up to three different strings with varying alignments on top of the roof.Here again as in case of all other products of the PIKO family we focus on the three-phase power supply. This technology contributes to doing without sensitive components in the units and, consequently, considerably improving lifetime and quality of the PIKO 10.1. We are proud of having achieved a reduction in weight so that mounting becomes easier and lighter - in the true sense of the word. Furthermore, our three-phase PIKO technology improves planning and sizing of large systems.
