The Visual Inspection - Having an Eye for Efficiency

Solar modules on the roof are to be subjected to a regular visual inspection. In doing so, the system is checked for soiling and cleaned if necessary.

Furthermore, we verify whether there are any changes regarding the shadowing situation and we measure the electric functionality of the modules. Measuring records for the individual solar strings are prepared.

The Stability Check - Prepared for Stormy Times

We have a good look at the substructure of the solar generator. Any fractures in the roof covering are thus detected quickly. The profiles fastened with sheet metal screws are inspected after a winter with much snow. Then you can take the next storm calmly.

The DC-supplied Inverter - Live Test

The inverter converts the direct current generated by the solar modules into alternating current. We check the operating state of the inverter and clean it inside and outside. In particular for systems with mains feeding units which are not easily accessible (e.g. in case of installation under canopy roof), we offer our special remote monitoring system.

This system informs about the functionality of your system continuously and comfortably.

The Solar Distributor - Distribution of Energy

The solar distributor collects current from several solar strings and conducts it to the inverter. We check the outer parts of the housing as well as the cable connections and entries.

The Electrical System

In the course of time, clamping joints or screws may work loose and result in higher transition resistance. We check all electrical connections for tight fit.

By means of a so-called thermographic procedure we are able to detect further weak points which are not visible. If everything fits perfectly, trouble-free continuous operation is ensured.

The Lightning Protection - Ensuring Safety

In general, we check the surge protectors for proper functioning - depending on the set-up of the system in the meter cubicle - and the distribution boxes are checked, too.

Inspection and Recording of Switching Unit - Large Systems

In case of large solar systems with connected loads of the DC-supplied inverter of more than 30 kVA (kilovolt-ampere), the special switching unit with frequency control is checked according to VDEW (German Association of Electricity Industry) at regular intervals of three years by our specialist while this check is recorded.
